CBS Sports and Turner Sports today announced their lineup of broadcast teams for the second year of combined coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Once again, Turner Sports and CBS Sports will provide live, full national coverage of the tournament’s 67 games across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – as well as across multiple platforms including NCAA March Madness Live.
Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Jules Feiffer, world-renowned chef and author Anthony Bourdain, three-time Oscar® nominee Debra Winger, Emmy®-winning actress Ellen Barkin, Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Spike Lee, Emmy-winning television icon Regis Philbin and Peabody Award-winning journalist and news anchor Jim Lehrer are coming to TCM in 2012 to participate in the network's popular Guest Programmer series.
TBS has extended the popular late-night series CONAN through April 2014, demonstrating the network's solid commitment to the Emmy®-nominated show and its host, Conan O'Brien.
Turner Sports, CBS Sports and the NCAA today announced that NCAA® March Madness® Live, formerly March Madness on Demand, will now provide college basketball fans with more opportunities to watch every minute of every game of the 2012 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Produced by Turner Sports Interactive, NCAA® March Madness® Live is a suite of live products presented across multiple screens, including online and as an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch app and, for the first time, on Android phones.
Next award season’s 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards has been scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. The celebration of the year’s finest acting achievements will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS.
